Laura Condren first began this journey as an artist and formally trained sculptor with a BFA from National Art School in 2019. After graduating and quitting her Masters, Laura took a break from artmaking, disillusioned by the art market, mainstream galleries and toxic pollutant materials she once used to create her works.
Deeply affected by the turbulent and destructive state of the world and how we treat the environment, Laura began to realign her practice. Inspired by the earth, community and sacred rituals of the mundane. She dug for ochre and wild clay, as well as crystals and foraged bones and seashells for inspiration. During this spiritual awakening and deeply healing period, Laura began crafting jewellery, experimenting tirelessly with processing clay from scratch, creating natural skincare and painting abstract landscapes from the very earth she stood on.
After digging deeper into the soil and leaning into nature's wisdom, it was no longer enough just to create and express. As she began to unravel and heal her traumas and

stepped into her calling and power.
She began working and studying feminine mysteries, Reiki, as well as the shamanic realms. From here she began to channel artworks from these experiences with the intention of celebrating the feminine powers and elevating those she works with.
Grief work is power work and Laura Condren was initiated as a womb, heart and voice activator and healer by Brittany Godden through the Root Process coined by the School of Sacred Roots, (formerly the Hemp Temple). the art of catharsis
Laura Condren is a womb awakening shamanka who was born on Dharug and Guring gai land, with Norwegian lineage . She travels and works between Dharug and Dungutti lands.
